Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VibeTune - Offline Player ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use this offline music player. We want the policy to be clear and practical, especially because the App works with songs and audio files stored on your device.

VibeTune - Offline Player is built for local playback, folder browsing, playlists, favorites, background controls, and everyday offline listening. It is not designed to upload your private music library, secretly monitor device activity, or read unrelated personal files for advertising.

Information We May Access

Depending on the features you choose and the permissions you grant, the App may access limited device and app information such as device model, Android version, app version, language setting, country or region, crash logs, diagnostic events, playback stability events, and basic performance data. This information helps us understand whether the App is working correctly, fix errors, improve compatibility, and keep playback reliable across different Android devices.

For core music features, the App may access information needed to scan and organize local audio files. This may include audio file names, folder paths, album names, artist names, duration, file format, album artwork when available, recently played status, playlists, favorites, queue order, and playback metadata. These details are used to display and manage your local music library inside the App.

Permission Use

Storage, media, or All Files Access permissions may be requested when Android requires them for finding supported music files across folders. These permissions are used to scan, display, sort, and play audio files such as MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC, M4A, and other supported formats depending on your device.

Notification and foreground service permissions may be used when you start music playback. They help keep playback visible, stable, and controllable from the notification area while the screen is off or while you use other apps. The service is tied to user-started audio playback and is not used for hidden recording, secret monitoring, or unrelated background collection.

You can manage permissions in Android settings. If a permission is disabled, related features may stop working or may show limited results, such as fewer songs, missing folders, unavailable notification controls, or interrupted background playback.

How Information Is Used

We use information to provide the selected music feature, build and refresh your local library, display folders and playlists, remember favorites, support queue controls, improve playback stability, diagnose crashes, prevent misuse, and improve user experience.

If analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or app distribution services are included, those providers may process limited identifiers, app interaction events, approximate device information, diagnostic data, and performance information according to their own policies and platform rules. These services are not intended to receive your private audio files or the full content of your music library.

Local Processing and User Control

Where practical, VibeTune - Offline Player processes music library information on your device. The App focuses on local playback and organization for files already stored on your phone. We do not need to upload your songs to provide offline listening, playlist management, folder browsing, favorites, or playback controls.

You remain in control of your device permissions and local files. You can stop using a feature, remove songs from your device, change permissions, clear app data, delete playlists, reset favorites, or uninstall the App at any time. Some information may remain on your device or in Android system backups depending on your device settings.

Playlists, Favorites, and Playback Data

Playlists, favorites, recent playback, queue order, repeat mode, shuffle mode, and similar listening preferences may be stored locally so the App can provide a smoother music experience. This information is used to help you resume listening, organize songs, and quickly return to preferred tracks.

The App does not claim ownership of your music, does not grant rights to songs you do not own or have permission to use, and does not provide a streaming catalog. You are responsible for using audio files that you are legally allowed to access.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal audio files, playlists, or music library. We may share limited technical information only with service providers that help operate analytics, crash reporting, advertising, app distribution, security, or support services; when required by law or valid legal process; or when necessary to protect users, the App, or platform integrity.

The App is not designed to transfer unrelated documents, photos, videos, contacts, messages, or private files for advertising. If you choose to share a song or file through Android sharing tools or another app, that action is controlled by your device and the receiving service.

Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law, security needs, fraud prevention, diagnostics, or technical logs. Local songs and audio files remain under your control on your device unless you choose to delete, move, export, or share them.

Crash logs, diagnostics, and analytics events may be kept for a limited period to investigate errors, improve compatibility, and maintain app stability. Local playlists, favorites, and playback preferences may remain until you clear app data, remove the App, or change related settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or improper handling of information. No app, network, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we encourage users to manage permissions carefully, download apps from trusted sources, keep Android updated, and back up important audio files when appropriate.

Children

The App is not directed to children under the minimum age required by local law. Users should use VibeTune - Offline Player in a lawful and permission-based manner and should not use it to access, copy, delete, or share another person's music files without permission.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy when features, legal requirements, platform rules, permission behavior, analytics services, advertising services, or Android system requirements change. The updated version will apply after it is made available in the App, store listing, or related policy page.
